Get in TouchAbout
Originally from the Midwest, Chris moved to Colorado a decade ago after falling in love with the mountains. Over that time, he's pursued learning more about all types of climbing and enjoys sharing that knowledge and experience with others. Chris loves helping climbers learn and improve in all areas of their climbing, whether that be technique work, fitness and conditioning, mental headspace, or technical systems. In the summer, you can find Chris climbing in Boulder Canyon, Eldorado Canyon, or high up in Rocky Mountain National Park and once the snow flies, he's ski patrolling at Eldora and earning his turns in the backcountry.

Reviews
I met Chris as the coach of the Peak Performance Team at Movement gym when I signed up as a new climber in early 2025. Working with him to learn climbing with proper technique from the start has made a world of difference in my abilities and confidence. Chris is as patient as he is knowledgable. Once I was more comfortable in the gym I decided to take an outdoor class with Chris. The five week course was absolutely amazing, we went over everything from gear to building and cleaning anchors as well as repelling (my personal favorite). I attribute my success and enjoyment in learning to climb to Chris. He's truly passionate about teaching people to climb (almost as much as climbing itself) and just one of the nicest people you'll meet to boot!
As a new climber, one of the first things I noticed about Chris was his drive and passion for climbing. Guaranteed to help any type of climber level up. He not only taught me (and my climbing partner) the fundamentals, he also follows up with us in real time to check in and give tips and advice to what we were doing during his outdoor sessions. After meeting him at Movement Boulder's PPT class, which he coaches, I knew I made the right decision to be a part of it and to stick with it. He offers a masterclass on all things climbing, so much that had I not met him at the beginning, I am pretty sure I would not be as far along as I am currently in regard to confidence and technique. You just can't go wrong with this guy and his guidance. Book the class, you won't regret it!!
